PP Biaxial Geogrid
Punched and drawn polypropylene grid with equal strength in both directions, used to stabilise weak subgrades and strengthen granular bases.
Ballast and subgrade solutions that keep track geometry longer and cut maintenance.

Under a railway track the ballast breaks down, and fine soil from the formation can pump up into it. A geogrid in or under the ballast locks the stones in place, while a geotextile separates ballast from the subgrade and filters water away from the track bed. Geocells can confine ballast or sub-ballast on soft formations.
The benefit is steadier track geometry, so tamping is needed less often and speed restrictions are less likely. They are used in new construction and in track renewal on mainlines, sidings, and metro and freight corridors.
