Polyester Filament Nonwoven Geotextile

Needle-punched continuous-filament polyester geotextile from 150 to 600 g/m², for filtration, drainage, separation and liner protection.

Overview

This nonwoven is made from continuous polyester filaments laid into a web, needle-punched and then thermally bonded. Continuous filaments give more strength and puncture resistance for each gram than staple fibre, and polyester keeps its properties under sustained load and at higher temperatures. It filters soil from flowing water behind walls and around drains, keeps fill and soft subgrade apart, and cushions geomembranes in landfills and ponds.

Features

  • Continuous filaments for high strength at a given weight
  • High burst and tear resistance
  • Lets water through freely while holding back fine soil
  • Polyester holds its strength under sustained load and heat
  • Weights from 150 to 600 g/m²
  • Rolls 6 m wide, or 1 to 4 m to order
